Protecting your new vehicle with an anti-theft device!
After acquiring my new Chevy 1500, I decided against what many publications recommend. That is to avoid any type of aftermarket car alarm and or anti-theft device. According to several publications such as Consumer Review, and many other nonsense blogs aftermarket automotive security systems don’t work. They are a waste of time and money and nothing more than a nuisance to your neighbors due to false alarms. However, in a recent study by the FBI, more than 8 million vehicles are stolen or vandalized every year. Those odds are much lower than getting hit by lightning, and we all know that thousands of people get hit by lightning every year. So what is your choice? Do you protect your vehicle with a security system or do you play the odds as many of this nonsense publications say?
It has been a while since I have a tingle with cars. When I was in school car alarms, custom car stereos, and window tinting were standard. Based on the number of car stereo stores near me I have to say that not much has changed. However, there are more than a dozen brands in the market, and many of them have unique and advanced features and not very familiar. I’ve never been the type who choose things at random. I don’t even play quick lotto numbers. And I don’t suggest anyone does anyway.
With that said I went on a quest to try and find a decent auto security system for my truck. There are dozens if not hundreds of different car alarms with remote starts in the market today. Find the best one can be a real challenge. I started by asking friends and family about local shops and what products they carry. After some in-depth research, I decided to get a car alarm with a remote start from Clifford. I also found in the Miami Lakes business directory a local shop with very good reviews and testimonials.
Like many products, in the market, Clifford makes a premium, a semi-premium, in a budget-friendly option. After consulting my insurance agent in finding out that I will be getting a 20% rebate on my insurance policy, in other words about a $250 savings, I decided to go with the middle of the role model for which I was quoted $299.
This particular unit offers a tilt sensors to protect my wheels as well as a two-stage shock sensor that allows would-be thieves to know a professional security system protects the vehicle. If you search Google for a Car Alarm Miami, you will quickly find out that you have many choices. But, upon further examination, it is easy to see the quality and type of business you are dealing with. When it comes to choosing a car alarm or car stereo installation shop, I focus primarily on three things.
Number one for me our customer reviews. Regardless of how raggedy a place made look if they do good work it is more than likely that satisfy customers are going to give them. With that said be aware of businesses with perfect five-star reviews. More often than not these are fake reviews create a by reputation management agencies.
Number two in my list is the quality of their website. Real businesses that are not only growing but are going to be around when you need them to understand the importance of having a professional web presence. I strongly suggest you stay away from businesses that don’t have websites and or limited social media presence.
Number three my list is availability and customer service. It is my opinion that any leading business in their category should have a good better in a best of every product they sell. Imagen going to the supermarket and finding only one type of soda or one type of bread. Often, businesses that are struggling, will often stock products they know they can sell and nothing more. However, a business that thriving will try to offer the clients a range of product to meet not only their budget but also their expectations. I hope you consider these pointers when choosing your next car alarm or car stereo store. In fact, I believe that these commonsense tips can apply to just about anything you purchase.
Cleaning Games for Children
Any parents with small children know just how messy a child can be. They get into everything, spread it around, and have fun making a mess. The problem comes when it’s time to clean up. You want to teach your children responsibility and that they need to clean up their messes, but it can be incredibly difficult to keep their attention.
You don’t want to be cleaning up after your kids forever, so it is important to figure out how to teach them that cleaning is not only necessary, but it can be fun too!
We all know that children love games, and one of the best ways to teach a child any skill is by making a game around it. House cleaning is no exception!
Fun Things You Can Do
One tried and true method that seems to work for any child in any given situation is to establish a race. Have you ever told a child that you bet you are faster than them? They can’t wait to prove just how fast they really are. The same principal can be applied to cleaning. Tell your child that you think you can pick up more blocks than they can and watch how quickly those blocks go back to the toy chest!
Another fun activity is playing dress up. Every child has a fantasy of being a princess, cowboy, or astronaut, why not play into those fantasies? Dress up like cowboys and tell your child that their toys are people and their toy chest is the town, and the people need help getting back home. They will love being able to help, and to use their imaginations of being a real-life cowboy!
Teaching Responsibility
Once you have established these games, and have participated with them, you will see how they will be eager to clean up once playtime is over. If you have established a routine, you will find that your children will start to clean up after themselves on their own, because they know it is expected of them and that it is fun to do.
One of the most important things a parent can teach a child is how to be responsible. By appealing to a child’s imagination, you are showing them that it doesn’t have to be difficult, while at the same time keeping a clean home. It will be much easier to vacuum, dust, and clean windows once you have decluttered, and you will have the benefits of teaching your child responsibility, all while maintaining a healthy and clean home! Of course there are times when it may be easier to hire a maid service for those deep down cleans.-
